Our Concept
SPECTRUM explores the variety of beliefs within an individualized group to break down stereotypes and showcasing complexities. The spectrum game Is where several participants are given a statement and they would have a range of options to stand on, going from strongly agree, agree, slightly agree, neutral then the same goes for the disagreement range. This allows participants to express their opinions rather than being constrained with only a yes or a no. Participants are then told to elaborate their opinions and discuss regarding what they feel about the statement given.
Data Analysis
Survey Responses
We conducted a survey on social norms and received 92 replies. The age group of 20–29 comprised the majority of the responses (65.2% of the pie chart), followed by the age group of 13–19 (31.5%). We then asked about social norms to see if individuals were aware of them; the replies we received were 69.6% yes and 30.4% no.When questioned if people behave differently when they are with other people and when they are alone, the majority of respondents said that they do, with 10.9% of the 92 persons who responded voting against this. One question asked if different individuals tend to be ignorant. Of the 92 voters, 59.8% chose "yes," while 40.2% chose "no." 78.9% of the 92 respondents believe social media has an influence on them, while 21.1% believe it has no impact. A wealthy person enjoys a better life than a poor person, according to 63% of them, while 37% disagree. Due to their fear of the odd vision, half of them answered that they will let others know if they are the minority and the other half indicated that they won't. According to societal norms, when asked what age they believe is best for a person to get married, especially women, the majority believe that it is between the ages of 25 and 29. Only 21.7% of respondents believe that 30-34 is the most desirable age. We've divided the many ways we might honour our parents into two categories: accompanying family members and spending money on family members. Of those, 80.4% believe that accompanying family members will be the best option, while 19.6% believe that spending money will be the best option. As asked if they'd purposefully pack themselves even if they couldn't afford the stuff, 76.1% said no and 23.9% said yes.
